My Brisbane trip. (Part Two)

As you know, there's alot of amusement parks in Gold Coast. There's Dream World, Movie World, Sea World, White Water World and etcetera. But familia and i went to Movie World only. Insufficient time you see. So we could only go for one of the amusement parks.

Dear brother and i chose Movie World mainly because of the roller coaster rides! I looked at the brochure and i went- Whoa. Hahha. Cause seriously, all the rides looks very tempting!

And so indeed once we reached there, brother and i went hunting for the rides! First, we took the indoor Scooby Doo Haunted House thrill ride. It's supposed to be a family adventure ride, those kid-friendly type. Not the kind of ride that made your heart pump a-thousand-miles-per-hour. So, since we first thought it'll be a harmless, easy ride, mummy agreed to ride with us. Mind you, my mother is afraid of roller coaster. She's not a roller coaster goer like i am.

Okay, so the cart arrived. Perfect, just for the four of us. So we buckled up and off we went. At first, there's the cute scary props everywhere. Seeing all these props reminds me of the time i went for a spooky ride in Disneyland L.A. few years back. So we were comforted by the thought that this ride will be the same. But how wrong we were. After a few seconds, suddenly the cart stopped and was levelled up. Yes, we were actually taking some kind of lift to a higher level. Once it stopped, that's where the thrill ride begins!

Before we know it, all of us were screaming our lungs out! Everything was soo dark. But i managed to see the track ahead, and boy was i stunned. The ride is similar to the one in Escape, but 10 times scarier! And they did the freaking backward ride! The cart just turned the opposite way and went down the track at full speed! It goes on and on and on for about 10-15 minutes! I was worried for mummy since she was the only one who kept quiet throughout the ride while all of us were screaming! Then finally the ride ends and mummy kind of vowed never to ride a roller coaster ever.

After that ride, brother and i went ahead for the other rides. We tried the Wild and Wet, similar to the Escape one also. But the one there was like freaking higher! Twice the height if i'm not wrong. Both of us thought that we'll only go up and down just like that. And again we were fooled. The cart went up and inside the hill-like structure. Then AGAIN, the cart turned the opposite way and off we went up and down, up and down, till we felt as if our heart was just knocked out of its socket. It was THAT scary. And later on we get wet once we splash down. Hahha.

Okay, okay. You get how scary the roller coaster ride there already right. Ok then, i shall not bore you anymore with that story. Hahha.

Everything there was soo cute lah. There was a Happy Feet parade along with Scooby Doo and gang too. Oh, oh and there was a skit somewhere in the middle of the road. And there was cute antique cars everywhere and i can't resist taking photo with it! Hahha. There were plenty of cute souveniers store. There's even a Harry Potter store! Oh and let's not forget the Loony Tunes Village.

And, and i took photos with Austin Powers and Batman & Robin!! =)

Okay enough babbling. Few snapshots aligned ahead. Sorry lah, throughout the trip we took more video than pictures since daddy just bought a new video cam for this trip. =/

While familia and i were at Surfer's Paradise to shop, we popped in the Ripley's Believe it or not Museum since at that point of time most of the shops were already closed. So, no use walking around doing nothing right? Hahha.

Well i'm lazy to elaborate so the snapshots below will do the talking eh! =)
What i can say is that it was FUN! Hahha.
